2024 WPS Garden of Lights Recap

The folks at Green Bay Botanical Garden and WPS with to thank you for another wonderful Garden of Lights!

Here are the final numbers for 2024 Light Show season:

More than 59,400 guests attended during 19 days of the light show.

140 children and adults from 11 area nonprofits attended thanks to a generous grant from Schreiber.

116 volunteers worked 482 shifts for a total of 1,580 hours.

6 volunteers gave a combined 360 hours (24% of the total volunteer hours). 

27 first-time volunteers this year!

13 volunteers helped set up the light show for a total of 519 hours in October and November. 

On average, about 7-10 volunteers give more than 200 hours of their time to take down the displays in spring.

20 volunteers decorated and put away the Natural Holiday Trees for a total of 93 hours.

39 sponsors from northeast Wisconsin that supported this event!

Special recognition and thanks also goes to the Events and Set-Up Teams for all their hard work during the entire season. Each and every event night they ensured that the light show would run smoothly!
