Golden House ~ Looking Back with Gratitude, Moving Forward with Hope

Posted on 12-12-2024

This year, Golden House opened the doors to their new home, a transformative space for healing and hope:

The Golden House, Donald J. Schneider Family Residence Center &
Mulva Family Foundation Outreach Center

This state-of-the-art facility has become a sanctuary for victims of domestic abuse and a symbol of safety and renewal for those in need. Built on 44 years of providing supportive services, this milestone is only possible because of your incredible support.

Behind these numbers are real stories—of courage, healing, and resilience. Families escaping danger, children finding laughter, and individuals regaining their sense of self—all made possible through the kindness of many donors and supporters.

The Mission Continues

While the new facility is already changing lives, Golden House is facing a $1.7 million funding gap to fully complete the On the Rise capital campaign. As they prepare to serve even more families, they will need your support to close this gap and sustain their life-saving programs. If you are interesting in making a capital campaign gift, please reach out to Dina Borremans at dina@goldenhousegb.org.  To make a donation online, Please Click HERE.
