Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB), the third largest airport in the state, serving Northeast Wisconsin and portions of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, is announcing that additional flights have been added in support of those who plan to visit the area during the NFL draft.

Both United Airlines and American Airlines have added two additional flights to/from Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), operating on April 23 and 27. American Airlines has also announced two non-stop flights from LaGuardia Airport (LGA), on April 23 and 27. These flights are in addition to nonstop flights previously announced on Delta Air Lines to and from Los Angeles (LAX)Salt Lake City (SLC)Orlando (MCO), LaGuardia (LGA), Atlanta (ATL)Minneapolis (MSP), and Detroit (DTW).

“We know the increase in passenger traffic that will happen during the weeks surrounding the draft and we are ready,” said Marty Piette, Airport Director. “We really appreciate the great partnership we have with our airlines, and these additional flights allow travelers greater flexibility and the convenience of flying directly to Green Bay.”

Additionally, GRB’s low-fare carriers, Frontier Airlines and Sun Country Airlines, are both bringing back non-stop flights to popular southern and western destinations during 2025. Sun Country Airlines will resume its non-stop service to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers starting on January 30, 2025, with flights on Sundays and Tuesdays. In May, Frontier Airlines will resume its non-stop service to Denver International Airport (DEN). These Monday and Friday flights are available for booking now. United Airlines will also be increasing its daily frequency to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to six flights per day, allowing more availability to travelers.

“GRB and our community are always excited to welcome travelers from Northeast Wisconsin, Upper Michigan and beyond,” said County Executive Troy Streckenbach. “The convenience and access that you find at our airport drive a truly positive experience for all passengers.”

Travelers are encouraged to keep checking airline websites for new routes and dates for both the upcoming NFL Draft and other destinations.
