Luxemburg-Casco School District Hosts Successful Christmas Party for Senior Citizens

The Luxemburg-Casco School District held its annual Christmas Party for Senior Citizens on December 11th at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Luxemburg.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The annual celebration is in appreciation for the community’s continued support of the district.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“It was a great day, filled with friendship and memories,” said L-C High School Principal Tyson Tlachac. “As much as the seniors enjoyed the party, I think our students enjoy it just as much. What a wonderful way to celebrate the season!”

 

 

 

 

 

 

The festivities began with Christmas carols performed by the Luxemburg-Casco High School Choir. The approximately 165 attendees then were treated to Christmas cookies, snacks, and refreshments.

Thanks to the generosity of more than 40 local businesses, the seniors also tried their luck at bingo with $2,000-plus in prizes handed out. All senior citizens residing in the Luxemburg-Casco School District were invited to attend.
