Are curiosity and the desire to learn part of your new year’s resolutions?
The 2025 catalog for UW-Green Bay’s Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) is now available, and registration is open. LLI is a membership-based and volunteer-led program for adults interested in learning in retirement and their leisure time. UW-Green Bay’s mission is to educate all who want to learn—from middle schoolers to mature adults.
LLI has created an exciting line-up of 203 in-person courses, live and recorded online classes, outdoor classes and tours. Course topics include arts, crafts, culinary, fitness, history, science and nature, and more. History courses like “Queen Marinette: Her Life and Times” offer unique perspective on local lore, and special interest courses like “Great Decisions 2025,” delve into foreign policy issues facing the United States. Members may also receive a guided walk or learn yoga.
Engaging with continual learning throughout life keeps the brain active and can reduce cognitive decline, and many members feel a great sense of satisfaction and purpose when they learn new ideas. LLI also creates opportunities for …
